Pakistan Institute of Development Economics PIDE is currently searching for the qualified and experienced professionals for the following vacant positions of Research Assistants in Islamabad, Pakistan. The Pakistan Institute of Development Economics PIDE has launched a multi-year competitive grants programme for policy-oriented research in Pakistan titled 'Research for Social Transformation and Advancement RASTA under the Public Sector Development Program PSDP of the Ministry of Planning, Development & Special Initiatives, the Government of Pakistan. The RASTA's mission is to develop a high-quality research network of academia and think tanks across Pakistan producing high-quality, evidence-based policy research to inform Pakistan's public policy process. A number of research projects funded by RASTA programme require services of RESEARCH ASSISTANTS on contractual basis, for short period 3-6 months,on reasonable remuneration packages PKR 25k-50k. RASTA is inviting applications for these project-based assignments to create a pool of applicants facilitating the Principal Investigators of numerous social sciences research studies across Pakistan. This initiative does not only offer income opportunities for the youth, but also provides learning experience for the graduates/post-graduate students to work closely with experienced researchers conducting research on public policy issues in Pakistan.
