We are looking for a Front-End HTML Developer responsible for front-end development and theming. This position requires a combination of programming skills (HTML, CSS, JS, WordPress) and aesthetics (understanding element arrangements on the screen, the color and font choices, and so on). The best candidates have a strong understanding of industry trends and content management systems. Experience with responsive and adaptive design is strongly preferred. In addition, an understanding of the entire web development process, including design, development and deployment, with some back-end knowledge, is preferred. We expect the above to be expressed through: A Bachelor degree in Computer Science or a related field (or combined with related experience) Solid understanding of HTML, Javascript, and CSS Minimum 1 years of experience Ability to communicate and work well with others Ability to handle a fast-paced work environment, deadlines and new challenges. Experience Building user interfaces for websites and/or web applications Extremely fluent with HTML5, CSS, JS and WordPress. Experience working with JavaScript and jQuery Experience working with CSS Preprocessors: SASS, LESS and Stylus Ability to write JavaScript with and without the use of frameworks such as jQuery Experience developing responsive websites and web applications. Comfortable working with debugging tools like Firebug, Chrome inspector, etc. Ability to understand CSS changes to have consistent style across platforms and browsers Ability to convert comprehensive layout and wireframes into working HTML pages Results-oriented, reliable, able to work under pressure Ability to communicate technical ideas to business users and other teams (design, user experience, etc.) Ability to both collaborate with team members and to work independently.
